The heat sink module emulates the heat consumption of a building according to the setpoints.
It emulates:
- the heating system (e.g. radiators or space heating)
- domestic hot water consumption
- circulation losses in domestic hot water systems (https://aphplus.co.uk/secondary-circulation/)
It can emulate the heat consumption based on consumption profiles (e.g. from field measurements) or PHIL simulation models.
