The suggested topic of this course was the integration of open geospatial data into common game engines. We contacted Airbus in advance to suggest suitable topics. Unfortunately, no cooperation came about this semester. 11 students have registered before the start of the course. 8 students took part in this seminar. 6 students have successfully completed the course. Two student groups developed two different game concepts.
A total of two game prototypes were created. In addition to the usual technical skills, the students also learned a lot about design, organization and business fundamentals during this semester. Another focus was on group dynamics in the team and social soft skills in everyday work.
The whole course was conducted in a hybrid format, using face-to-face seminars, distance learning and blended learning tools.
