Heat Sink Control

This control VI does not contain any logic that provides operation set points for the heat sink. The tasks of this control VI are:

• Controling control valves that extract heat from the system via heat exchangers
• Controling the mixing station to provide defined temperature and flow in the heating system
• Controling the hot water extraction via the taps

The easiest way is to provide inputs with the HiL model. Inputs that can be provided by the HiL model are marked blue. This model provides the necessary input values according to simulation data.

Inputs:

• Set flow rate for heating circuit pump: S_FW-HC_RL_bM_set $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[l/min]\end{array} //]]>$
• Set temperature for the supply line of the heating circuit: S_TM-HC_VL_aM_set $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$
• Set temperature for the return line of the heating circuit: S_TM-HC_RL_set $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$
• Cumulative energy of the domestic hot water consumption: E_DHW_set $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[kWh]\end{array} //]]>$

Outputs:

• Heating power $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[kW]\end{array} //]]>$
• Power for domestic hot water consumption $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[kW]\end{array} //]]>$
• Temperatures and flow rates as shown in Heat Sink - Hardware $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[l/min]\end{array} //]]>$ and $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$
• Room temperature (if HiL is used) $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$
