- After you have registered your adress at the Citizen Office in Munich, use the online form to start your application for your residence permit for the purpose of family reunification.
Required documents:
- completed and signed application form "Antrag auf Erteilung oder Verlängerung eines Aufenthaltstitels"
- Passport of both spouses
- Proof of financial means
- biometric passport photo
- Marriage certificate or certificate of civil partnership in original or as a copy (also with apostille or legalisation). If no international/multilingual document is available: German, certified translation by a translator sworn in Germany
- "Wohnraumbescheinigung zur Vorlage bei der Ausländerbehörde" - Rental agreement or purchase agreement stating the number of square meters and monthly costs of the apartment for the migration office
