Steps - How to get a settlement permit

  1. After you have registered your adress at the public administration offices of the city of Heilbronn, prepare and hand in your application for your settlement permit.

Required documents:

    1. completed and signed application form "Antrag auf Erteilung einer Aufenthaltserlaubnis"
    2. proof of health insurance (abroad) / offer of private health insurance / confirmation of application
    3. curriculum vitae
    4. copy of passport
    5. copy of visa and entry stamp
    6. registration certificate from the Citizen Office
    7. tenancy agreement (as proof how many persons live on how many sqm) or the form "Wohnraumbescheinigung"
    8. university certificates
    9. confirmation of employment (letter of confirmation from MDCO / copy of 1st page of the offer of appointment as scan)
  2. Book an appointment at the Immigration Office Heilbronn online or by phone +49 (0)7131 56-2064 at the Immigration Office Heilbronn.
