Remaining at the new place of employment
For the first seven days after commencement of employment, the daily allowance is 40 EUR (reduction for full-day absence from the place of employment).
From the 8th day onwards, the separation allowance is
- 13,60 EUR for persons who live in the same household as a) their spouse or registered partner, or b) their relative up to the second degree, a foster child or foster parents and provide them with accommodation and maintenance not only temporarily or predominantly due to legal or moral obligation, or c) with a person whose help they temporarily need
- 9,20 EUR for other beneficiaries
In addition, travel allowance for journeys home for each half month is paid for beneficiaries mentioned above. A maximum of 240 EUR is reimbursed per journey home.
Instead of a journey by the beneficiary, a journey by the spouse, the registered partner or a child may also be taken into account!
The invoice is issued monthly.

Daily return to the place of residence
The travel expenses incurred can be reimbursed as for business trips, insofar as the distance to the previous place of work is exceeded. If you use your own vehicle, you will receive a travel allowance (amount: kilometre x 0,35 EUR or 0,25 EUR) for each full kilometre of the shortest road connection between the new office and your previous home.
If you return every day even though you cannot reasonably be expected to do so (60 km limit!), the reimbursement of travel costs in the case of daily return may not exceed the separation allowance to which you are entitled for one calendar month.
The invoice is issued monthly.
