Please also note the information on the pages:
Enrollment
Important dates, recommended arrival date, late arrival option & deferement
Official acceptance or refusal letter: Latest September
Since orientation and information sessions are scheduled for new students in the first half of October, it is recommended that you arrive in Munich no later than the beginning of October.
Start lecture period winter semester: Mid-October
Although the date above is the official start of the lecture period, due to the fact that attendance is not mandatory in most courses and furthermore many courses offer the possibility of online participation from a distance, in exceptional cases (e.g. Visa issues) students may arrive at TUM later than mid-October. However, please keep in mind that you must be present at the Munich campus for the exams, which begin in mid-February.
If you decide to defer your studies, please consider the information provided here.
Tuition fees
If you have to pay tuition fees, please note that the transfer may take some time. Please transfer the fee in good time so that you can register for courses. Please refer to our webpage for detailled information.

The MSC-PE Program expects all students to aquire German language skills during their studies. You get released from this constraint by providing a proof of sufficient German language skills along with your set of application documents (optional). You can acquire German language skills e.g. by attending lectures offered in German language or by taking a dedicated German language course at the TUM Language Center.
