As administrator of a wiki-space, you can assign permissions (permission levels) for individual pages in addition to the global permissions set for a wiki-space.
In order for individual persons / groups of persons to be able to act in a wiki-space (e.g. edit pages etc.), they must first be given "global" access rights! The subsequently set page restrictions dominate the global permissions.
Step 1: Call up the page for which you want to assign additional permissions.
Step 2: Click on the "..." option and select "Restrictions" from the menu.
Step 3: Choose one of the permission levels from the following table:
| Restrictions | Meaning |
|---|---|
| No restrictions | Depending on the global permissions set before in the wiki-space, groups of persons (1), individual persons (2), anonymous persons (3) can view and edit the page |
| Editing restricted | Depending on the global permissions set before in the wiki-space, groups of persons (1), individual persons (2), anonymous persons (3) can view the page, but only selected groups of persons (1) or individual users (2) can edit the page |
| Viewing and editing restricted | Only selected, already globally authorized groups of persons (1) or individual, already globally authorized users (2) can view and edit the page |
The permission level "No restrictions" is set as default for all pages. If this permission level is selected, depending on the globally set permissions for groups of persons (1), individual users (2) or anonymous persons (3) in the wiki-space, groups of persons (1), individual users (2) or anonymous persons (3) can view and edit the page.
