ST - Control

In contrast to other control VIs, this control VI cointains a simple logic that can provide operation set points for the heat sink. The tasks of this control VI are:

• Simple control strategy for the pump
• Control of the electric heater

The easiest way is to provide inputs with the HiL model. Inputs that can be provided by the HiL model are marked blue. This model provides the necessary input values according to simulation data.

Inputs:

• Set heat power of the solar thermal unit: P_heat_set
• Standard control solar thermal pump: StandardSTcontrol
• Set temperature for the supply line of solar thermal unit (only if StandarSTcontrol is false): S_TM-ST_VL_set $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$

Outputs:

• Thermal power of the solar thermal unit $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[kW]\end{array} //]]>$
• Temperatures and flow rates as shown in ST - House 1 $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[l/min]\end{array} //]]>$ and $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$
• Collector temperature (if HiL is used) $//<![CDATA[ \begin{array}{l}[°C]\end{array} //]]>$
