Please note: As part of the application, Imperial applicants must submit confirmation (email is sufficient) that they have funding for the Imperial studentship, should their project be selected. Funding can come from any source, e.g. a PI´s allocated studentship, from a Department-allocated studentship, a CDT, a DTP, or other internal or external funding source.

Warning

The data collected here will only be used within the scope of the application process.

This includes in particular:

  • Use for the evaluation process (including external reviews of the applications)
  • Contact the applicants within the organization in case of questions and announcements

JADS administrators as well as reviewers (personal data will be anonymised) and the selection committee will have access to the data.


Deletion

The deletion of the data is 4 weeks after the final selection of projects. Data from successful candidates will be kept to continue the collaboration.

Consequences in case of missing consent:

You have the right not to agree to this declaration of consent – however, since the data marked as mandatory fields are required for submission, we cannot guarantee to take the application into account without consent.

Your rights:

  • a right to information
  • a right to rectification or erasure or to limit processing or to object to processing
  • a right to data transferability
  • the right of appeal at the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection

Consequences of revocation of consent:

As of receipt of the revocation declaration, your data may not be further processed and will be deleted immediately. Revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing that has taken place up to that point. Please send the revocation to the address below.
