Project Description

The kingdom of Linesse, the city Cazelle. Anduin, the new Royal Investigator, just arrived in the city and now a case! The owner of the inn "The seven cats" has been murdered! It was witchcraft! The accused a young girl! Is she really the witch? Or is the truth another? Can you help Anduin solve the case?

Gameplay

You have to solve Anduin's first case! This point-and-click features Anduin's arriving at the city and the final witch trial. By skimming through the evidence, you can learn, what Anduin has found in the investigation part, which is unfortunately not featured. Solve the case according to your intuition and convince the people of your deduction!

Story

Ever since the great war - witches against humans, which the humans won - witches are hunt down by the Inquisition and are sentenced to burn at the stake. That's why most of the witches decided to live a "normal" life as humans, hiding their magic. The trial? Well, once accused as witch, no furtcher question willl be asked and that person awaits death, even if, in reality, they were just human. Getting to know the injustice, the royal family decides to create a new job, the Royal Investigators. To never burn the innocent again, they have to work together with the Inquisition to solve thy case and find the truth! If there is a witch, but they aren't involved in the murder, should you still reveal their secret and let them burn? Decide for yourself.

Characters

Anduin

Our protagonist. A new royal investigator an also the first one of Cazelle. His parents are retired inquisitors. He is aquainted with inquisitor Carax. His decisions are depending on you!

Carax

An Inquisitor. Knows Anduin, since he has worked together with Anduin's parents in the past. Doesn't like the Royal Investigators - they are just a waste of time - but is willing to change his opinion since Anduin became one.

Luna

The accused witch. She is a caring girl and a little bit timid. Would she really commit murder?

Tobias

The victim's son. He is very shaken by his mothers' death. At least it seems like it. Does Tobias have some secrets?

Lumiel

A little girl that is known for her honesty. She firmly believes that her friend Luna isn't the culprit. She would never do this!

Stella

An employee workin at the inn. She is very shaken by her employer's death. Her co-workers like her very much. She is a hardworking girl.

The people's reprensentative

The person Anduin presents his deductions to. He embodies the peoples will. If our protagonist isn't able to convince him of the truth, an innocent might have to burn.
