Abstract
Emergen3D is a simple strategy game that is similar in gameplay to simulation games like Sixteen Tons Entertainment's "Emergency", but without the same seriousness and attention to detail. Instead, the focus is on fun and humor in the foreground.
Project Description
The objective of the game is to detect disasters in a simulated city, and manage the police, firefighters, and paramedics as efficiently as possible to manage. The city is projected on the floor of the room in miniature format and can be freely explored by the player, who controls the augmented reality camera with his smartphone. The game is suitable for teens, but also adults who have an interest in augmented reality. The game could be used by fire departments, the Red Cross or the police to get children and young people interested in their work. It is also suitable as a good showcase for AR.
