Abstract

As interest in XR grows, so will efforts in XR application development. To support the development for head mounted displays, there is a need for tools and capabilities that can assist. In this thesis we examine the status quo of the representation of the camera and try to find better and more targeted representations based on this. A new representation for a frustum is introduced, which could be a solution to the lack of spatial information provided by showing the frustum of a camera only as wireframes. It also addresses the representation from the human visual field, introducing a completely new possibility for developers to see how their application could be optimised.
