How do I register for a lecture?

  • You have to register for a lecture in TUM online and you will be directly registered in moodle. You can download course material from moodle.

How do I register for an exam?

Registration for the exams is done via TUMonline. You have to click on the green "P" which is located in the line of the concering exam in your curriculum. Please register at the correct place in your curriculum - some exams appear as compulsory elective and as elective courses.

  • Winter term: 07th to 31st January
  • Summer term: 01st to 31st July

Do I have to take all the compulsory courses at the first semester?

We strongly advise you to finish the compulsory courses at the first semester as they establish the foundations for the compulsory elective and elective courses. However, compulsory courses can be taken at later semesters. Please pay attention to study progress deadlines in the regulations.

I have selected two core elective courses in the second semester and I would like to take the remaining (the ones that are not selected) two core electives courses of the second semester as elective courses. Is it possible?

How can I get my final degree certificate?

As soon as you successfully completed your studies, please contact the course director. Your degree certificate will be issued automatically. The time required to issue the certificate is usually two weeks. It can be longer during the holiday period (up to six weeks).

How do I have to register my Master's thesis?

How many hard coipies of my Master's thesis have to be handed in?

You have to submit the thesis to your supervisor at your chair. Please ask your supervisor how many hard copies have to be handed in.

Your CoMe course coordinator does not need a copy.
