Der Außenwirtschaftsverkehr unterliegt gewissen Einschränkungen, die sich aus dem Recht der EU und aus dem Außenwirtschaftsgesetz (AWG) sowie der Außenwirtschaftsverordnung (AWV) ergeben. Auch die HPC-Ressourcen der Universität Augsburg unterliegen den Exportkontroll-Verordnungen.

Die Universität Augsburg muss die Einhaltung der Exportkontroll-Vereinbarungen an allen Punkten, an denen ein Zugang zu den HPC-Ressourcen vergeben wird, entsprechend umsetzen. Als Kontaktperson eines HPC-Projekts an der Universität Augsburg mit Zugang zu den HPC-Ressourcen der Universität Augsburg müssen wir Sie daher in diese Verpflichtung mit einbinden.

Konkret müssen Sie beachten und sind dafür verantwortlich, dass Berechtigungen für diese Ressourcen nur unter Einhaltung dieser Verordnungen vergeben werden. Für die Umsetzung bedeutet dies folgendes:

Um die Universität Augsburg als Betreiberin dieser HPC-Ressourcen und um Sie als Kontaktperson abzusichern, muss die Leitung von HPC-Projekten, die HPC-Ressourcen beantragen, entsprechende Erklärungen abgeben. Dies lässt sich in folgenden Schritten erzielen:

1. Die Leitung von HPC-Projekten muss die Erklärung zur Einhaltung der Exportkontroll-Verordnungen bestätigen, und damit die Verantwortung für die Einhaltung der Exportkontroll-Verordnungen übernehmen.
2. Falls Sie selbst Leiter/-in eines solchen HPC-Projekts sind, müssen Sie das Formular selbst bestätigen.
3. Als Kontaktperson bestätigen Sie gegenüber der Universität Augsburg, dass Sie Anträge auf Nutzung von HPC-Ressourcen der Universität Augsburg nur dann genehmigen, wenn die Leitung des HPC-Projekts Punkt 1 erfüllt hat.
