Project Description

Project description:

Our multi- and interdisciplinary team at the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy at TUM examines individual-level behavioral responses to the introduction of new technologies in health and medicine (such as electronic health records, electronic prescriptions, and digital therapeutics), as well as responses to COVID-19 pandemic experiences. As part of a European-wide research network, we have conducted several representative surveys in multiple European countries between 2020 and 2024. The TUM PREP students will work with us and project partners on conducting background research as well as managing and analyzing the data from these surveys to examine research questions such as:
(1) What explains citizens' expectations and acceptance of technological change in health and medicine?
(2) How does citizens’ satisfaction with health policies, including government policies to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic, affect their political preferences and voting behavior?

Working hours per week planned:

35
