Abstract
Automated integration testing in VR faces multiple challenges that complicate the development of such a system. The first is the increased complexity compared to other applications. Even relatively simple applications quickly become very complex with objects in 3D space, which are often affected by physics. Another complication is the novelty of non-standard interaction interfaces. Game engines have developed integrations for VR devices and sometimes even have automated test setups for tests in a 3D scene. This is an important step but still does not address the main challenges of testing VR applications. VR interfaces are mostly relatively new, complicated and aim to be as realistic and immersive as possible. This creates interfaces that are hard to define, especially for creating input data for a test case. This master thesis focuses on addressing those challenges with the aim of developing a system for integration testing for virtual reality applications
