Abstract

This master's thesis analyzes the current state of documentation in game development projects and proposes a new method, called the interface method, to improve efficiency of decision-making management. This method works by considering various criteria and clearly defining the format of the documentation and then continuously evaluating the created documents. After theoretically conceptualizing the method, it is evaluated using an example and finally discussed in an open interview with experts from the field. The results indicate, that there are many inefficient process currently used that might be difficult to change with a traditional approach to project structures. I conclude that the method can be further improved with more experience of using it in real projects, but it is already a solid foundation that improves the current state of documentation in game development projects.
