General Information

To access the ZEITlab cleanroom laboratories, please fill out this form (please log in with your TUM-ID).

Since the relocation to collab.dvb.bayern, all people (requesting users and supervisors) must log in at least once to be recognised by the wiki.

Check: If the name or TUM-ID is not listed in the drop-down window, the person is not yet recognised. 

Your supervisor needs to confirm your data via email to lab.lab@xcit.tum.de after you submit your request.

Please keep in mind that all instructions take time to execute and to prepare.

If you just want to visit the cleanroom or have a look, please be a guest and contact lab.lab@xcit.tum.de.

Please tell us your situation and, if possible, your contact person. Hopefully, we will be able to clarify any questions you may have before entering.

This Access request is not for the groups ExpAPs and student rooms, where the Professors are responsible.

Information for TUM externals

For TUM externals, a few additional requirements are needed to access the ZEITlab facility.

To have this done as smoothly as possible, please contact lab.lab@xcit.tum.de directly and describe your situation, and we will do our best to help you. 

Typical Process for Access

  • Fill in request form
  • Choose the desired instructions (multi-option possible)
  • Don't be shy in letting us know what you want to do and fill in the comment section
  • If you need a consultation (because you do not know if certain processes are available) please mark the check box we will contact you 
  • Finish the Moodle course
  • Wait for an appointment for your on-site safety instruction
  • Get access to the laboratory
  • Get to know the laboratory, your processes, and the machines you will need, and follow your supervisor and/or colleagues for best instructions 
  • Be part of the cleanroom users and join the weekly meeting

Please write your scientific project you work on, e.g. DFG, ERC, Fraunhofer, Chair for XYZ. Write "none" if not applicable.

Multiple options possible. Keep in mind, some of the safety instructions come with a test.

The data collected here will only be used within the scope of the required security documentation for the cooperation in the ZEITlab.


Only ZEITlab employees and system administrators of the ZEITlab wiki are permitted to access personal data. Personal data is limited to the information you give in the form above.


Deletion

The data will only be deleted when a new version of the safety instructions in the ZEITlab becomes valid, as this documentation and data storage is mandatory.


Consequences in case of missing consent:

You have the right not to agree to this declaration of consent - but as the data marked as mandatory fields are required for documentation, we cannot allow the use of the ZEITlab labs without consent.


Your rights:

  • a right for information
  • a right of rectification, erasure or limitation of processing or a right to object to processing
  • a right to data portability
  • a right to lodge a complaint with the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection

Consequences of revocation of consent:

From receipt of the declaration of revocation your data may not be further processed and will be deleted immediately. Revocation of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that has taken place up to that point. Please send the revocation to the address below.
