With our introduction to the German tax system, we want to help you gain a better understanding of its depths and discover how you can use it to your advantage.
Come meet tax expert Johannes Stetten from Lohnsteuerhilfe e.V. during a short yet informative Zoom event who will be talking about e.g.
- the conditions under which international researchers and their families may be exempted from paying taxes in Germany,
- the types of returnable taxes and
- how to file those.
The talk is in English and there will be a short Q&A session in the end.
The Welcome Services team of the TUM Global and Alumni Office invites all international researchers to join the event and asks you to register by November 30, 2022.
You are welcome to let us know your questions or topics of interest beforehand, so our expert can be sure to address them. Please send your questions to bossert@zv.tum.de until Thursday, November 24.
