We wish to invite you to this years virtual TUM Postdoc Day 2026 on 5th of May.

This event is designed for postdoctoral researchers outside of TUM or who haverecently joined TUM who are interested in exploring the German research landscape and learning more about postdoctoral opportunities at TUM. You will gain insights into career pathways, funding options, and the steps involved in pursuing a postdoc at TUM.

The event will take place on 5th of May from 14:00 to 17:00 (CET).

The programme is planned as follows:

  • 14:00–14:05 Welcome and Introduction
  • 14:05–15:00 Navigating the German Research System: What to Expect as a Postdoc
  • 15:00–15:30 Pathways towards Professorships – TUM Tenure Track and other models  
  • 15:30–17:00 Funding Your Postdoc: Opportunities and How to Connect with a TUM Host

To participate in the virtual TUM Postdoc Day, please register in advance (see details below).

If you have registered, a Micorsoft Teams link will be sent to you by e-mail on 5th of May before the event starts.
