MINGA Mentoring maintains a Google Calendar with all upcoming events organized by MINGA Mentoring and other exciting things happening in and around Munich.

- Every event organized by MINGA and the Senior Mentors

- Informatics-relevant events, e.g., hackaTUM, talks, etc.

Integrate the Calendar to your Calendar using ICS

To view events from our Google Calendar ICS URL in popular calendar apps like Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Samsung Calendar, follow the simple steps outlined below:
Google Calendar
1. Open Google Calendar.
2. On the left sidebar, click on the "+" symbol next to "Other calendars."
3. Select "From URL" from the drop-down menu.
4. Copy and paste the Google Calendar ICS URL (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/minga-mentoring%40in.tum.de/public/basic.ics) into the URL field.
5. Click on the "Add calendar" button.
6. The calendar events should now be visible in your Google Calendar.
7. Additionally, you can set/edit event notifications in the calendar settings.
Apple Calendar on iPhone
1. Open Apple Calendar.
2. Click "File" in the menu bar and select "New Calendar Subscription."
3. Paste the Google Calendar ICS URL (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/minga-mentoring%40in.tum.de/public/basic.ics) in the "Calendar URL" field.
4. Click on the "Subscribe" button.
5. Choose your desired options for updates and refresh frequency.
6. Click on the "OK" button.
7. The Google Calendar events will now appear in your Apple Calendar.
Calendar on Apple iPad
1. Open the Settings app on your Apple iPad.
2. Scroll down and tap on Calendar.
3. Tap on Accounts.
4. Select Add Account.
5. Choose Other from the account types.
6. Tap on Add Subscribed Calendar.
7. In the Server field, copy and paste the Google Calendar ICS URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/minga-mentoring%40in.tum.de/public/basic.ics.
8. Provide a Description for the calendar (e.g., "Minga Mentoring Calendar").
9. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
10. Tap on Next to proceed.
Note: Depending on the specific version of iPad software, the flow may vary slightly. However, the general concept of adding a subscribed calendar using the provided URL remains the same.
Microsoft Outlook
1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to the Calendar view.
3. Select "Open Calendar" from the menu bar and choose "From Internet."
4. Paste the Google Calendar ICS URL (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/minga-mentoring%40in.tum.de/public/basic.ics) in the URL field.
5. Click on the "OK" button.
6. Confirm the subscription by clicking the "Yes" button.
7. Outlook will download and display the events in your calendar.
Samsung Calendar
1. Open the Samsung Calendar app.
2. Tap the menu button (usually three vertical dots) to access the settings.
3. Select "Manage calendars" or "Manage accounts."
4. Tap on "Add calendar" or "Add account."
5. Choose "Internet Calendar" or "Subscribe to calendar."
6. Enter the Google Calendar ICS URL (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/minga-mentoring%40in.tum.de/public/basic.ics).
7. Tap the "Add" or "Subscribe" button.
8. The Google Calendar events will now be visible in your Samsung Calendar.
Following the instructions, you can successfully integrate the Google Calendar ICS URL into the mentioned calendar apps and view the events within your calendar.
Event Reminder on Slack with Chatbot
It's supposed to serve as a reminder and make regular posts in the Slack workspace and channels. Every Slack integration has to be approved by the Main Coordinator!
Scheduling:
- Weekly Event Reminder: Send at 09:00 on Fridays for the next nine days (from Friday 00:00 to next week's Sunday 23:59).
- Last-Day Event Reminder: Send at 09:00 on any day, only if there are events the next day (the next day from 00:00 to 23:59).
