This poll is only directed to students of the Master program "Mathematics in Science & Engineering", for which the participation in a Case Study module is part of the curriculum under section A1.4.

In order to assess the necessary capacities for the Case Study modules taking place this summer term 2025, we have to inquire your plans in attending them. Please note that this form does not yet pose a final application to the module, nor is it aimed for you to include further details about project preferences or similar.
An actual application form will be published after the general information event for the Case studies taking place on 06-th of February.

Important

  • In the following poll, besides your name and contact data, please also specify your current (i.e. at the day you are filling the poll) master-semester. I.e. if this is currently your first semester within "Mathematics in Science & Engineering" here at TUM, this would be a "1", regardless of your Bachelor studies before.
  • For your decision about participation, please note that the Case Studies are a demanding module requiering some experience and taking place fully in-person. It is usually not recommended for first-year master students. The next occasion of the Case Studies will most likely be in summer 2026 then.
