VPN - eduVPN - DFN-Server entfernen

Problem:

The VPN connection woks, but there is no access to the Munich Scientific Network and no access to the networked drive.

You are connected to the DFN-eduVPN. Within eduVPN you can select servers from the NREN's (National research and education networks) as well, in Germany this is DFN (Deutsches Forschungsnetz).

How do I see that I am not connect to the LRZ-VPN servers?

Instead of your university you read Germany/Deutschland

If you click on Details, you see IP-addresses starting with 10.0.x.y and 200:638:...

Solution:

Disconnect first by clicking on the green slider.

Click on the little top left arrow.

Now you can delete the entry below Sicheres Internet/secure internet, if you want to:

Right click on the Germany/Deutschland entry
A little popup named forget/Vergessen will show up
Click on it to delete this entry

As soon as the entry is deleted, you will see the initial configuration window.

Enter lrz-vpn into the search field.
