Dietary Options
For the conference dinner and catering we plan on having different dietary options such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten/lactose-free. In case you have specific dietary preferences please fill in the form below.
Two fields relate to dietary options:
- Dietary preferences with regards to conference catering (Choosing among vegan, vegetarian, gluten/lactose-free or no specific preferences)
- Dietary preferences with regards to conference dinner (Choosing the main dish among 3 predefined options)
Visit to LRZ facilities (Leibniz Supercomputing Center)
We have planned an LRZ visit that includes visiting the cave and the LRZ supercomputing hardware facilities. The visit will take place the day before the conference, September 10th, 2019 at 16.00. Given limited capacity, we would like to ask you to indicate if you are planning on participating in the visit. Participation will be determined on a FCFS (first-come first-served) basis.
The visit' schedule is:
- 4:00pm Meet at LRZ entrance, 5 minutes for restroom break (there are no restrooms in the hardware building)
- 4:05pm starting guided tour for 3 groups with 10 persons each group
- 5:30pm V2C-Demo for all guests together
Please note that the LRZ facilities are in Garching Forschungszentrum (https://goo.gl/maps/6tKZr1PzB4QjsbmHA). This is (typically) a 45 minute trip from conference venue (see map below).
Participants are asked to:
- be at the LRZ main entrance, 10 minutes before the planned visit time and
- have a form of identification with them such as National ID or (preferably) their passport (otherwise, they will not be able to enter the LRZ facilities and enjoy the tour).
