Christmas in Germany is a particular time of celebration, reflection, and sociability. We decorate our houses, bake Christmas cookies, and get together with our families to spend a peaceful time waiting for Santa Claus or the Christkindl.

To share this special time of the year and to help you familiarize yourself with some of the German Christmas traditions, we cordially invite you to our Welcome Services get-together at the Münchner Christkindlmarkt. Of course, you are welcome to bring along your family and friends. Please note that you must pay for your own food and beverages.

Time: 5 – 8 p.m.

If an event does not reach a sufficient number of participants by the deadline, it might be cancelled. In this case, you will be notified immediately.
Participation is at your own risk. TUM / MPG will not assume liability.
By registering, you agree that photos taken during our events may be published by TUM or MPG in print or online magazines and that TUM and MPG hold the unlimited right of usage.

Privacy Protection

The data collected here will only be used in order to organize this event.

This includes in particular:

  • managing registrations
  • contacting the participants in order to administer this event.

Access to personal data is only granted to the organisers of the event.

Deletion of data

The data will be deleted 12 months after the event.

Consequences if consent is not given:

You have the right not to consent to this declaration - however, since the fields marked as mandatory are required for the event registration, we cannot provide a place without consent.

Your rights:

  • a right of disclosure
  • a right to rectification or deletion or to limitation of processing or a right to object to processing
  • a right to data transferability
  • in addition, you have to right to lodge a complaint with the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection.

Consequences of a revocation of consent:

Your data may not be further processed after receipt of the declaration of revocation and will be deleted immediately. The revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out up to that point. Please address the revocation to the following address.
