The Herreninsel, also called Herrenchiemsee, is the largest of the three islands in Lake Chiemsee and definitely a must-see destination. The New Palace on the Herreninsel, built under the reign of the fairy-tale king Ludwig II, is a smaller version of Versailles.

On a guided tour, we will learn more about the history of the palace, admire the magnificent interior and have a chance to stroll through the beautiful gardens. During the crossing we also have the opportunity to visit the other two islands: Fraueninsel and Krautinsel.

Meeting place: Munich Central Station
Time: 8:15 a.m.
Deadline for registration: June 13, 2022
