must be achieved from the compulsory modules (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13), 10 credits from the compulsory internship modules (14 and 15 or 16 or 17), 5 credits from the elective modules A and 5 ECTS from the elective modules B. Since some of the elective modules have only 3 ECTS, students have to complete another 3 ECTS module to cover the required amount. It is also possible to choose one elective with 6 ECTS too. In both cases, there is once ECTS more earned than required.

The Master's Thesis (30 Credits) shall be started after all module examinations have been successfully completed.

Types of modules and their examinations
Compulsory modules need to be completed by passing the module examinations successfully. In case of a failed compulsory module examination, the examination needs to be retaken until it is passed. A failed elective module can be substituted with another elective module. The modules 3, 13, the internships and all the electives are assessed as non-graded "Coursework" (pass/fail). The Modules 1,4,5,6,7,8,9 and the Master's Thesis are assessed by examinations with grades on a scale from 1,0 (max.) to 4,0 (min.). It is very important that you register for all kind of exams you want to take! (warning) Follow those instructions.

Study plan

According to the general academic and examination regulations, students are required to complete at least 22 credits each semester. An amount of 30 credits is recommended. The study plan is a recommendation how to structure your studies under the premise of those 30 ECTS.
