Project Description

Project description:

The importance of understanding and embracing one's cultural background lies in its potential to nurture creativity, innovation, and personal growth. Learning about intangible cultural heritage (ICH) plays a crucial role in preserving cultural identity, promoting social cohesion, and maintaining a connection to our collective past. In my research project, I am exploring the use of cutting-edge technologies like Extended Reality (XR) and Large Language Models (LLMs) as Conversational Agents to safeguard ICH for present and future generations. By harnessing these technologies, my aim is to foster cross-cultural understanding, document and disseminate cultural knowledge, and ensure that our shared cultural legacy continues to thrive, inspiring future generations through accessible and engaging learning experiences.
