Why?

By providing holistic support to the next generation of founders, we want to support them more efficiently and in a more targeted manner on their individual path to success. We are building one huge joint database with the non-commercial parts of our partner institutions. In order to continue using your founder´s data for that purpose, we need your re-consent. Also historic data is a valuable source of information that enables us to continuously adapt and improve our support, in compliance with the DSGVO.

We kindly ask you to re-submit or update respectively your company´s and the personal data of you and your co-founders. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see policy below). As you enter your Co-Founders´ names and email addresses, they receive their own inquiry of re-consent and thus can decide if they want to sent their re-consent as well.

Privacy Policy on the Joint Controllership of the Ecosystem*

Information pursuant to Art. 13/14 GDPR on joint responsibility within the startup ecosystem of Technical University of Munich, UnternehmerTUM and TUM Venture Labs

I hereby wish to become a part of the Technical University of Munich / UnternehmerTUM / TUM Venture Labs ecosystem and I therefore consent to the processing and use of my personal data.

This includes receiving information about entrepreneurial offers (for example, events and programs, education formats and lectures, advisory services and start-up support, infrastructure or surveys) approximately once per month (except my given preferences in the named ecosystem parties’ individual sign-up forms state different intervals). It also includes the joint use of my personal data by the above-mentioned three parties for an efficient execution of those offerings. In this context, Salesforce.com Germany GmbH (Erika-Mann-Str. 31, 80636 München) and Cloudworx GmbH  (Rupert-Mayer-Straße 44, 81379 München) are used as processors of personal data.

At any given time, I can withdraw my consent by sending an email to gruendungsberatung@tum.de. This will not have any effect on the legitimacy of the processing of my data based on the prior consent until my withdrawal of consent, based on article 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Upon receiving my notice of withdrawal of consent, the controller will delete my personal data.

Further information about the respective use of my personal data and the Technical University of Munich / UnternehmerTUM / TUM Venture Labs ecosystem can be found in the privacy policy of Technical University / of TUM Venture Labs/ of UnternehmerTUM and the privacy policy on the joint controllership of the ecosystem.

By law, participants have a right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection to processing or data portability. Furthermore, participants have a right of complaint and the right to appeal to the Bavarian Data Protection Commissioner.
