For the 9th time, we are opening our Call for Doctoral Candidates who are keen on broadening their horizons by acquiring skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between research and innovation and to extend the candidates’ network within the urban mobility ecosystem.

Who can apply?

  • Doctoral candidates from DTN partner universities (Aalto University, Czech Technical University in Prague, TU Braunschweig, Israel Institute of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, Technical University of Munich, University of Lisbon, Ghent University, University of Tartu, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) participate in the program free of charge upon acception.
  • External doctoral candidates. For the first time we are able to accept applications from candidates outside our partner universities. The regular participation fee is 6,000 € to be paid by the university. This fee might be reduced by 3,000 € upon the DTN Committee's decision for outstanding applicants. The fee includes the complete I&E course package (4 mandatory and 3 elective courses) and 2x DTN Annual Forum incl. travel grants.
