The parameter definition via the VeriStand User Interface doesn't work properly, therefor parameters should be changed in the VeriStand Interface.
The parameters are only changed during the experiment, to change them permanently, change them in the System Definition File.
The Interface has the following parts:
- Target and parameter set selection:
With a drop down menu, one can choose the target and specify the type of parameters one wants to change - Parameter selection:
Up to 10 parameters can be selected to read and change their values at the same time - Get the current parameter:
By clicking on this button, the current parameters are shown - Apply new parameter:
After changing the parameters and clicking 'Apply New Parameter Values', the parameters are changed for the experiment.
All selected parameters will be changed! Deselect (2) the ones you don't want to change!

In order to limit the burdon on the PC, an "Event Structure" is used to change the parameters with the following cases:
- Get parameter values:
The values or the selected parameters are written into "current parameter" and "new value". - Apply new parameters:
The values of "new value" are sent to the models, the "current parameters" are updated. - Reset parameter selection:
The chosen parameter list is reset. - Timeout - nothing happens
- Undeploy - stop the event structure
