This control VI does not contain any logic that provides operation set points for the air source heat pump. The tasks of this control VI are:
- Control of the HVAC system to provide air at the defined state
- Converting input signals from the logic to AO/DO signals
The control can be run in automatic or direct control mode.
Automatic control
The easiest way is to use the HiL model. Inputs that can be provided by the HiL model are marked blue. This model provides the necessary input values according to simulation data for the HVAC system.
Inputs:
- Heat level (A_V3_TL)
0 - heating / cooling
1 - domestic hot water - Mode (ASHP_mode)
0 - off
1 - cooling
2- heating with the heat pump
3 - heat pump runs at 100 % modulation, aux. heater on - Modulation of the heat pump (Modulation_ASHP_set) [\%]
Mode 1: 0 - 100 % cooling, 0 % aux. heater
Mode 2: 0 - 100 % heating, 0 % aux. heater
Mode 3: 100 % heating, 0 - 100 % aux. heater - Air temperature (S_TM-AS_In_set) [°C]
- Relative air humidity (S_HA-In_set) [\%]
- Pressure difference between ASHP (air) inlet and outlet (Delta_p_set)
Outputs:
- Heating power [kW]
- Cooling power [kW]
- Electric power [kW]
- COP [-]
- EER [-]
- Deicing [bool]
- Heating / Cooling or Domestic Hot Water [bool]
- Temperatures, flow rates and humidity as shown in ASHP - Hardware
Direct control
All actuators can be controlled directly with a 0-10V or DO signal.
Analog Inputs:
- EH_Direct
Activates: A_EH-AS
Overwrites: S_TM-AS_In_set - CV_Direct
Activates: A_CV_Out, A_CV, A_CV_In
Overwrites: S_TM-AS_In_set - SH_Direct
Activates: A_SH-AS
Overwrites: S_HA-In_set - FA_Direct:
Activates: A_FA
Overwrites: Delta_p_set
