  1. You shall only use the services to perform work, or transmit or store data, consistent with the stated policies and conditions of use as defined by TUM and which have to be accepted when registering to TUMonline.
  2. You shall not use the services for any unlawful purpose and not (attempt to) breach or circumvent any administrative or security controls.
  3. You shall immediately report any known or suspected security breach or misuse of the services or access credentials to the TUM Service Desk.

  4. You shall respect intellectual property and confidentiality agreements.

  6. You agree that the service providers (i.e., TUM) are entitled to regulate, suspend, or terminate your access, and you shall immediately comply with their instructions.

Project Size Policy

In general, there is no fixed size limit for projects. However, if one of your projects should grow excessively, the service provider will contact you. Very large projects might have to be deactivated without prior notice to ensure a secure and stable operation of the service.

Backup Policy

We perform a daily backup of all system data. However, these backups serve to restore the system after a critical failure. Data of single projects cannot be restored on demand. Please use the ShareLaTeX "Recent Changes" feature to undo changes or the folder "Deleted Projects" to restore deleted projects.
