We are delighted that you are considering joining our dynamic and innovative team at the Technical University of Munich. Through this program, we aim to foster collaborative research, share knowledge, and contribute to the advancement of autonomous vehicle technologies.

Before proceeding with your application, please take a moment to review the eligibility criteria and required documentation listed on our website. Completing this form is the first step in expressing your interest in becoming a part of our community as a guest researcher. Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete to facilitate a smooth application process.

We would like to explicitly state that applicants must arrange their own funding for the stay. For those who need financial support for their research stay, there are numerous options, e.g. through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). We are looking forward to your applications!

Guest Researcher Application

In connection with your submission of an application to our program, we wish to inform you about the processing of your personal data and your rights regarding this data.

Use of Your Data:

The personal data you provide will be used exclusively for the purposes of processing your application. This specifically includes:

  • Managing application submissions,
  • Contacting applicants regarding their application status.

Access to Your Data:

Only the application review team will have access to your personal data. Your data will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties outside of the application process.

Deletion of Your Data: Your personal data will be deleted 4 weeks after the conclusion of the application process unless there are legal obligations to retain the data for a longer period.

Consequences of Not Providing Consent:

You have the right to withhold consent to this privacy policy. However, as the processing of certain personal data (marked as mandatory fields) is necessary for the submission and review of your application, we cannot process your application without your consent.

Your Rights:

You have the right to:

  • Access information about the processing of your data,
  • Correct or delete your data,
  • Restrict the processing,
  • Object to the processing,
  • Data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

Consequences of Revoking Consent:

You may revoke your consent at any time. Upon receipt of your revocation, your data will no longer be processed and will be immediately deleted. Revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out up until that point. Please direct your revocation to the application review team listed below.
