What does it mean to work for the European Commission? How do I best prepare for the “Concours”? And how can I engage with the EU locally? Ask Wolfgang Bücherl from the Regional Representation in Munich!
The European Commission represents the common interests of the EU and serves as its main executive body. With around 32,000 permanent and contract employees, it is considered the EU institution with the largest administrative body. Entry opportunities for students and young professionals are manifold, developing into various career paths.
We will visit the EU Commission’s Regional Representation in Munich and learn about career opportunities in the EU! After a brief introduction in which Wolfgang Bücherl, Head of the Regional Representation, will give insights into his career path leading to the European Commission, students will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in direct dialogue.
Students from the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy and the Departments of Governance and STS at the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology who are interested in a career at the Commission are warmly invited to attend.
