Please note that TUM is located at several sites throughout Munich. The summer school will be held in the TUM Math Department (Garching campus) in lecture hall HÖRSAAL MI HS 3.

• Take the UBahn line U6 to Garching-Forschungszentrum (last station).
• Map to the lecture hall from U6 station.

Transportation from the Airport:

• The main methods of transportation from the airport are taxi, Uber, S-Bahn and airport buses.
• Directions to come depending on where the hotels are located. Please double check the direction below in case the routes are impacted by construction.

Local Accommodations:

We recommend making reservations early as hotels will book up for the Oktoberfest beginning the following week. We have reserved blocks of rooms for the summer school at the following hotels. Rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Important: Construction on the UBahn will impact the U6 metro line between Universität and Münchner Freiheit. No U6 trains will run between these stops during the week of the summer school. We recommend staying north of Münchner Freiheit if possible. Please note that the last three hotels in the table below are south of Münchner Freiheit. The alternate options below the table are all located north of Münchner Freiheit, but room blocks are not reserved.
