Overview

Munich Climate Week (MCW) is a city-wide, decentralised initiative activating the city through a curated program of 100+ events in October—bringing together universities, businesses, NGOs, and public institutions to connect, exchange ideas, and accelerate climate solutions.

When & where: From 19–25 October 2026, Munich Climate Week takes place across the entire city—spanning universities, conference centers, museums, community spaces, and outdoor venues, with events distributed across all districts and no single central location.

Highlight: Unlike a traditional conference or fair, Munich Climate Week operates under a decentralised, city-wide format with no single venue or organiser. Instead, over 200 partner organisations host events across Munich, creating a diverse programme spanning science, business, art, innovation and community action.
