Abstract

This paper evaluates how common Post-Processing effects are experienced in a virtual environment. Currently there exist multiple implementations of these methods for a traditional desktop setting, as well as widespread knowledge of when they should be used and how they are perceived by users. However, information regarding the way they affect users in a virtual environment is not widely available. We aim to analyze how different users experience some of the most popular effects, as well as to generalize which properties of an effect make for an enhanced experience.
