I want to choose my degree program, but it is greyed out – why is this?

If the font of a degree program is grey, it means that you can view your degree program structure within the current status, however, you can’t actively study it. It might be that your degree program is currently closed.

Where do I find information regarding my registration status or tuition fees?

By clicking on the arrow icons in the “My current status” area, you can see unpaid tuition fees and information regarding your registration status.

I would like to display additional information via the settings icon – what will I see?

You can also show/hide the following elements:

  • Inactive or not selected elements: All elements that have not been selected (by yourself).
  • Positive elements: All successfully completed elements.
  • Elements currently not valid: Certain elements in the curriculum are valid for a specific time period. Per default, future and past elements will not be displayed. This setting allows you to show/hide them.
  • Elements from the extended curriculum: There are elements in the curriculum that are not seen as part of the curriculum, such as requirements you have yet to fulfill.

I would like to register for a course/exam – what are the fastest ways?

  • I already know which element I want to register for, the course is currently open for registration, and I would like to find all the information regarding courses and exams at a glance: Go to the element in question, set filter to “Course open for registration” and/or “Exam open for registration” and register.

  • I’m not sure how to plan my next semester: Open the semester plan and find out what you should be registering for according to the curriculum. Expand to show all information available and register

  • I would first like to have a look at the course or exam on a separate page and then register: In “My Studies” in the “Activity” area click on the link “Course registrations” or “Exam registrations” respectively.

I would like to select an element of the available electives via the checkbox “Select” – what’s to take into consideration?

Each element comes with a checkbox for your “selection”. (The example shown is an exam). The yellow icon and text above the elements inform you how many credits are yet to be covered with more selections. Changing a selection made is currently only possible via the student office. Therefore, please consider the note shown when selecting an element!

Solution: Please get in touch with the student office and explain your problem.

I want to download documents for my degree program – where do I do that?

Clicking the download button above the “Activity” area shows a list of downloadable documents.

Where and how do I find the requirements for a selected course?

If a course comes with certain requirements, a “Requirements” link will be displayed. This link is only shown at exam level and if the requirements have not been met.

Once all requirements have been met, instead of a link, the text “Requirements met” will be shown.

I would like to know which of my achievements are regarded as free elective subjects or additional activities – where do I find this information?

The “Activity” area shows variable links depending on your achievements.

  • Free Subjects
  • Additional Achievements
  • Unassigned Achievements
