Project Description

Project description:

Li-ion batteries, PEM fuel cells and PEM water electrolysers will become key components in future carbon free energy systems.
Research activities at the Chair of Technical Electrochemistry encompass several steps along the value chain, starting from material preparation, application of various analytical methods to conducting electrochemical performance tests.

A possible research internship could thus be, for example, the synthesis of a catalysts or an active material followed by electrochemical and physical characterization or the optimization of a specific cell component through parameter variation and detailed determination of the influence on cell performance. The specific topic can be adjusted depending on the student's interest and background.

Working hours per week planned:

40
