For 26 slides, a total of 1.95 µL is needed. As we do stainings in 2 x 25 microscope slide batches, in one aliquot, ~4 µL of the antibody can be stored.

We want to stain ~300 microscope slides (6 mice x ~50 slides), therefore we need 6 aliquots.

6 aliquots x 4 µL = 24 µL

100 µL AB total volume - 24 µL = 76 µL remaining AB

 For long-term storage, 4 x 19 µL aliquots with the remaining AB volume will be made.


Resulting aliquots:

6 aliquots x 4 µL

4 aliquots x 19 µL

For 26 slides, a total of 3.9 µL is needed. As we do stainings in 2 x 25 microscope slide batches, in one aliquot, ~8 µL of the antibody can be stored.

We want to stain ~300 microscope slides (6 mice x ~50 slides), therefore we need 6 aliquots.

6 aliquots x 8 µL = 48 µL

100 µL AB total volume - 48 µL = 52 µL remaining AB

 For long-term storage, 4 x 13 µL aliquots with the remaining AB volume will be made.


Resulting aliquots:

6 aliquots x 8 µL

4 aliquots x 13 µL
