„CONVIVIUM. Nahrungssysteme am Limit“ am Mittwoch, dem 22. April um 19 Uhr!
Die Ausstellung präsentiert in zwölf Kapiteln Beispiele dafür, wie unsere Nahrungsmittel heute produziert und vertrieben werden. Die sichere Versorgung hängt an einem komplexen System, das durch Klimaerwärmung, politische und ökonomische Faktoren aktuell an seine Grenzen kommt. Der Fokus der Präsentation liegt auf Europa, doch die globalen Zusammenhänge werden stets einbezogen. Die Ausstellung vereint Architektur, Umweltjournalismus und Kunst und präsentiert wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse neben Materialinstallationen. Ziel der Ausstellung ist es, die räumlichen und technologischen Grundlagen unserer Nahrungsproduktion sichtbar zu machen – und zu zeigen, welche Herausforderungen und Chancen sich daraus für die Zukunft ergeben.

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition “CONVIVIUM. Food Systems at the Limit”on Wednesday, April 22, at 7 p.m.!
The exhibition features twelve chapters that present vivid examples of how our food is produced and distributed today. A secure supply depends on a complex system that is currently being pushed to its limits by climate change, political and economic factors. While the focus is primarily on Europe, global contexts are also considered. Bringing together architecture, environmental journalism, and the arts, the exhibition displays scientific research alongside 1:1 material installations. The narrative aims to show visitors the spatial and technological foundations of our food production, as well as the challenges and opportunities this poses for the future.
