Changes as of April 15, 2025


All project studies starting April 15, 2025 or later will be registered via the ED portal.


The project studies are registered in the ED portal at https://portal.ed.tum.de/en/Projectstudies/ The procedure is the same as for registering final theses. For detailed instructions, please refer to Final Theses in the ED-Portal.

The general procedure is as follows:

  1. The chair registers the project study in the ED portal
  2. The students confirm the registration in the ED portal
  3. The School Office approves the registration 
  4. The students upload the project report
  5. The chair reports the grade in the portal
  6. The data of the project study is transferred to TUMonline.

This concerns the following Master degree programs and modules:

Environmental Engineering: Study Project 

Aerospace: Practical Research Course, Term Project, Team Projekt

Power Engineering: Research Internship

Mechanical Engineering: Practical Research Course, Term Project, Team Projekt
