Key Features:

• Engage in a comprehensive week on the NUS campus with tours of advanced research facilities.
• Explore pioneering research in areas such as AI, Deep Tech, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Sciences.
• Attend presentations by NUS PhD students and alumni, drawing inspiration from diverse fields and industries.
• Participate in workshops on the practical applications of Generative AI in research, acquiring valuable hands-on experience
• Participants will reconvene online four weeks after the on-site programme to present insights on their projects, particularly focusing on the impact of Generative AI in research.

TUM Global Office is allowed to nominate up to 5 interested students from TUM. The selection of suitable candidates for the program is carried out at NUS according to their criteria. NUS will award two participants from TUM with a one-time payment of S$500 upon successful programme completion.

We are happy to announce and invite your students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programmes organized at the University of Trento during the Spring Semester 2026.
Your students will have the opportunity to engage in real life problems, find creative solutions and gain relevant skills for their future in an international environment in contact with business companies and public organizations.

Here is the programme of each BIP organized according to the Erasmus+ rules: a combination of physical mobility (5 days) and virtual activities awarding a minimum of 3 ECTS:

SOI 128 - Engaging with the Futures - Resilient Communities (challenge). In-presence classes run from 16th to 20th March 2026 in Trento.

SOI 160 - Social Media Detox Camp (challenge). In-presence classes run from 03rd to 08th May 2026 in Trento (This will be a BIP).

SOI 161 - Soft Skills (micromodulo blended). In-presence classes run from April 20th to 24th 2026 in Trento (This will be a BIP).

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the École polytechnique’s Research Program for International Talents. This program gives undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students from international partner universities of the École polytechnique the opportunity to complete a 3- to 6-month research project under supervision of a scientist in one of the institution’s 23 laboratories.

We would like to invite you to share this year’s research subject offering with eligible students at your university. There are 45 subjects to choose from in 16 fields of study. Interested students can apply to up to three research subjects via our online platform, which will close on January 19th, 2026.

Partner institutions should send their list of pre-selected candidates to the International Affairs Office via email (internship-international@polytechnique.fr) no later than January 12th, 2026. Please include:

Dear Esteemed Colleagues from Germany,

Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, and universities play a key role in preparing future leaders to address it. We are delighted to invite your students to participate in the 6th edition of the Climate Change Summer School (CCSS), hosted at the campus of Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, from July 13–24, 2026.

Since its inception in 2021, CCSS has provided a unique platform for students to deepen their understanding of climate change. This two-week program (equivalent to 6 ECTS credits), taught entirely in English, brings together world-class professors from diverse fields: Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Geography, Humanities, Law, Medicine, Physics, Political Science, and Sociology.

We have been fortunate to host 2 students from Germany in our previous editions, and their contribution has significantly enriched the global dialogue on climate change. This not only underscores the international appeal of the program but also speaks to the valuable perspectives brought by students from Germany.

Program Highlights:

• Multidisciplinary Approach: Engage with top-notch professors and professionals, fostering a comprehensive understanding of climate change.

We are pleased to invite your students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Lighting and Information Technologies for Vision and Perception Quality and Wellbeing”, organized by the University of Florence and coordinated by Prof. Carla Balocco.

This innovative BIP offers students the opportunity to explore how lighting and information technologies can be applied to design dynamic, sustainable environments that enhance visual comfort, perception quality, and well-being, while promoting environmental awareness and strategic responses to climate change.
Through a combination of online and in-person learning, participants will engage in hands-on design activities and multidisciplinary discussions focused on human-centric lighting and energy-efficient environmental control in contemporary spaces.

Target group

As discussed in the last DWIH New Delhi Board meeting, herewith sending you the call for application, draft agenda and promotional email for our Innovators Connect Tandem 2025 programme. It is a two week entrepreneurship programme for young researchers interested in start-up founding and early-stage start-up founders from India and Germany. Participants will work in teams to generate innovative ideas, undergo training for bringing research ideas to market and get exposure to start-up and innovation ecosystems of India and Germany. This is DWIH New Delhi’s flagship programme organised together with a group of 10 select incubators from India and Germany.

Some of our supporter institutions (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, University of Stuttgart, University of Rostock, Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, Heidelberg University, University of Cologne and Technische Universität Braunschweig) are also a part of the programme.

The call has been sent widely across Germany to innovation/ transfer/ start-up centres at universities and research institutions. Nevertheless, we would be happy if you could circulate it amongst your colleagues in Germany for promotions in case they haven’t received it already. (If applicable to your institutions).

From Germany, here is the target group of the programme:

PhD (ongoing or completed) / Postdocs (PhD not older than four years) with a lab to market idea and currently affiliated with a university, university of applied sciences or a research institution in Germany
OR
Early-stage start-up team members/ early-stage start-up founders (<2 years of incorporation) with minimum bachelor’s degree and preferably a master’s degree affiliated with a university, university of applied sciences or a research institution in Germany.

The programme aims to provide participants from India and Germany with knowledge about the research, innovation and start-up ecosystems of both countries and local markets. The central focus of the programme is collaboration for technology development. Participants will gain early international access during the ideation and product development phase to understand the needs of global markets and establish international contacts. The German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi will cover the costs, including international travel expenses and accommodation, for participants from Germany.

Application deadline is 13 July 2025.

We are currently organizing a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) called Combined Structural and Energy upgrade of buildings in rural areas.

This Programme will investigate the historical stratification of a mountain village in the Province of Brescia, the construction and strengthening techniques, the types of materials and their origin, the state of conservation of the buildings and the most frequent structural systems used. 

This BIP is designed for undergraduate, master and PhD students of Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture who are interested in building rehabilitation from different points of view: historical, materials, structural or energy.

Language of instruction and requirements: English (minimum level B2)

Dates and Location for Physical Activity:

📌  University of Brescia (Sept 8-10) Department Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering and Mathematics (DICATAM), Via Branze 43, Brescia (Italy);
