Women in CIT Doctoral Travel Awards

The Women in CIT doctoral travel awards program incentivizes currently active CIT female PhD candidates employed by the TUM in full-time teaching capacities (5 ECTS) who aspire to be future professors in STEM fields. Awards cover travel, hotel, and costs to European scientific conferences of the candidate's choice taking place from February to September 2026. For questions, contact diversity@xcit.tum.de.

Motivation statement	Please provide a minimum one-page statement of the desired European conference between February and September 2026 with website, early registration deadline, and justification for how attendance at the conference would facilitate academic career plans. Non-European conferences and late registrations are not allowed.
Curriculum vitae
CIT PhD confirmation	Please provide official DocGS confirmation of current active CIT doctoral status.
Teaching confirmation	Please provide signed confirmation by the doctoral supervisor of past and current teaching provided for the CIT. For summer semester 2026 provide the number of ECTS hours, course numbers and CIT department where the course is taught. Include number of students in the courses and description of duties.
