Yes it is possible:

Please sent a mail to your Startup-Consultant (before you start the process of incorporation) to let them know. They will start the process with the PTJ.

Please provide the following Information:

• Who is founding?
• What is the name of the project and what, in short, is the project about?
• Why is the start-up date imminent?
• When do you plan to submit the application for EXIST?

You can hand in your application to Exist Gründungsstipendium every month. Please take a look at the deadlines here.

After handing in your application the official review time is three full months. You will be notified during this time.

Please do not begin working on your application before you talked to a TUM Startup Consultant.

Preparing your Ideenpapier (Business Plan) is the most difficult step.

Additionally, please plan three to six months of working on your application part-time with your team members and with your Startup Consutlant, in order to have a good chance of applying to the Exist Gründungsstipendium.

This adds up to six to nine months from beginning to work on your application to receiving the Exist Gründungsstipendium Scholarship.

Yes, you need at least one person with an economic background to apply for Exist Gründungsstipendium.

In rare cases, you can apply with three techies, if one of these dedicates themselves to working on the business end during the Exist Gründungsstipendium project and can prove that they accumulated the knowledge needed through workshops, prior experience, internships, or prior employments.
