Probleme die Promotion betreffend

Wenn Sie zur Klärung eines Konfliktes Hilfe benötigen, gibt es je nach Situation unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen:

1. Hilfe durch das Graduate Center of Life Sciences

Wenn sich der Konflikt um reine Fakten, z.B. im Promotionsprozess dreht, helfen wir gerne dies zu klären und Missverständnisse aus der Welt zu schaffen.

2. Coaching

Wenn der Konflikt eher auf der persönlichen Ebene stattfindet und ein Weg gefunden werden muss zielorientiert und vernünftig miteinander zu reden, kann Ihnen ein Coaching helfen. Zusammen mit einer/einem Coach können Sie das Problem analysieren und verschiedene Ansätze finden, dass Gespräch selbstständig zu führen.

3. GC LS Promovierendenvertretung

Jährlich wählen die Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden des Graduate Center of Life Sciences ihre Promovierendenvertretung. Diese ist Mitglied des Graduate Council der TUM und des Beirats des GC LS, und vertritt dort die Interessen der Mitglieder des GC LS. Außerdem besitzt sie ein Gastrecht im School Council. 4. Vorstand des GC LS

Der Vorstand des Graduate Center of Life Sciences besteht aus zwei Professoren und/oder Professorinnen und einer Person des akademischen Mittelbaus sowie der GC LS Promovierendenvertretung. Wir können, nach Rücksprache mit Ihnen, Ihren Fall an den Vorstand oder einen dieser Personen weitergeben und je nach Problemlage kann dann über das weitere Vorgehen beraten werden.

5. School Office

6. Compliance Office der TUM

Im Falle eines schwereren Konflikts, welcher nicht auf der persönlichen Ebene gelöst werden kann, kann man sich an Compliance Office der TUM, als übergeordnete neutrale Stelle wenden. Die Zuständigkeit des Compliance Office bezieht sich vor allem auf den Bereich Gute wissenschaftliche Praxis, also Themen wie Publikationen, Autorenschaft, Daten und auch Betreuung.

Betriebsärztlicher Dienst

Aufgabe der Betriebsärztinnen ist es, dass körperliche, geistige und soziale Wohlbefinden aller Beschäftigten zu fördern und aufrecht zu erhalten und Sie vor Gefahren zu schützen, die sich aus ungünstigen Arbeitsplatzbedingungen ergeben. Dazu gehören auch Probleme im sozialen Umfeld (privat und am Arbeitsplatz) und Probleme im psychologischen Bereich.

Problems concerning your doctorate

If you need help to resolve a conflict, there are different approaches depending on the situation:

1. Help from the GC LS
If the conflict is based on pure facts, e.g. in the doctoral process, we are happy to help clarify this and clear up misunderstandings.

2. Coaching
If the conflict is more personal and you need to find a way to talk to each other in a goal-oriented and sensible way, coaching can help you. Together with a coach, you can analyze the problem and find different approaches to conduct the conversation independently.

3. Doctoral representatives of the GC LS

All doctoral candidate at the GC LS elect the doctoral representatives. They are members of the Graduate Council at TUM and represented the members of GC LS. Additionally they have the right to hospitality in the School Council of the TUM School of Life Sciences.
