We have been allocated three different networks for use. Other networks are also present on the switch in the cellar, but they are for LRZ internal use only (mainly configuration and the wireless services).

This network is the one to which all computer outlets (grey patch cables) are connected. Addresses 1 to 50 are reserved for static use, while the rest is managed dynamically by the LRZ DHCP server. The static addresses are
All addresses are private, meaning that they are not visible from the internet. Access to the outside is provided by a transparent NAT gateway at the LRZ. No special configuration should be necessary.

This is the network reserved for the VoIP telephones. It is completely managed by the LRZ.

This small network (13 usable addresses) is foreseen for servers installed at the cluster, which need to be accessible from the outsite.
